Indoor Banners

The MSC has large banner spaces along the main first floor hallway. These spaces may be reserved at the MSC Student Programs Office Service Island. Call 845-1515 for more information.

In Blocker Building banner space is also allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are asked to use string when hanging banners. Go to Blocker room 101 for more details.

In Zachry Engineering Center, banner space may be reserved for up to eight (8) class days, and banners need to be less than 10-feet long. Banners are hung from the second and third floor balconies using special metal hooks. Space may be reserved up to one week in advance by contacting Kaye in Zachry room 204.

MSC Display Cases & Bulletin Boards

Although many kiosks and bulletin boards are freely available around campus to publicize your organization's activities, the free promotional locations within the Memorial Student Center require reservations.

The MSC has several display cases and kiosks throughout the building. These spaces may be reserved at the MSC Student Programs Office Service Island. Bulletin boards do not require reservation, but all materials must receive the MSC stamp of approval before being posted to bulletin boards within the MSC. Call 845-1515 for more information.

Tables in the MSC and by Rudder Fountain

A concessions permit application (whether or not you are going to sell anything) must be picked up from Student Activities (845-1133). Then availability of table space must be confirmed by Becky Stratta in the Services and Scheduling Office (845-1311) on the second floor of Rudder Tower. They will in turn sign the concessions permit that you must then return to Student Activities.

It is your responsibility to then bring an approved copy of your permit to the Scheduling and Services Office. Be sure the approved copy is in this office at least 24 hours in advance of the desired activities. If an approved copy of your permit has not been provided, a table will not be placed in the MSC or the fountain area for you. If you have any questions, please call 845-1311.

Sandwich Board Displays

A sandwich board display permit application must be used to obtain approval area monitors for each area in which a sandwich board is intended to be placed. After appropriate signatures are obtained, the form is to be turned in to the Department of Student Activities which will issue a Sandwich Board Display permit.
