University Center Food Policy

It is the policy of the University Center that the Department of Food Services shall provide, or provide and serve, all food items served within the University Center with the following exceptions:
  1. Recognized student organizations providing refreshments served by and for the exclusive use of that organization's members with the items served to be limited to light refreshments such as coffee, tea, punch, carbonated beverages, cookies, doughnuts, sweet rolls, crackers, cheese, chips, and dips.

  2. Special cases, as approved by the University Center manager, with approval based on the inability of the Food Service Department to provide the required services, with each event each year requiring a separate approval.
NOTE: In view of this expanded Food Service Policy, it is very important that you inform the Scheduling & Services Office, in advance, each time you plan to have any refreshments.
